Ron called to say he was finally back! He now has coms! He was planning to get assistance in the morning to get photos posted off to us.

He cycled 170 kilometers – and he said it was incredibly tough – hard rain and strong winds plus one broken spoke on back wheel – but he persevered and made it to Port Lincoln. He had booked into a very pleasant backpackers and after making his bed – yip, they handed him linen and he had to make his own bed! – he then had some soup, fried himself an egg in the kitchen and was already in bed when he called! He plans to spend two nights in this backpackers – needs to repair bike and get photos done and dry out all his stuff.

But the good news is that you can all send messages and call Ron on his phone.
